George C. Bubolz III

President

George Bubolz III is the third generation of the Bubolz family to lead Bubolz Insurance, serving as President of the agency. He has been involved in the family business full-time since 1983. George obtained his Michigan insurance license in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health in 1976 and holds a degree in Marketing from Michigan State University.

In addition to his leadership role, George specializes in commercial insurance and works closely with the commercial lines team to help meet the insurance needs of local businesses. His decades of experience and knowledge of the industry contribute to the agency's longstanding commitment to providing clients with knowledgeable, personalized service.

Nancy Crist-Owen 

Operations Director

With over 40 years of experience at the agency, Nancy Crist-Owen brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role as Operations Director. Having learned from generations of experience, she has gradually taken on a variety of responsibilities that have given her a unique perspective on the business and a deep commitment to carrying the agency's legacy forward. Her role spans many areas of the agency, including accounting, operations, personal lines management, and technology, allowing her to support the team and help ensure clients receive dependable, responsive service.

A licensed insurance agent since 1988 Nancy has experience in both personal and business insurance as well as life and health insurance and is always ready to lend a hand when clients or team members need assistance. With an educational background in business administration and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, she enjoys finding solutions, supporting her colleagues, and helping the agency run smoothly.

Ivy Cook 

Senior Licensed Agent – Team Leader

With nearly a decade of experience in the insurance industry, Ivy Cook serves as a Personal and Commercial Lines Agent. She brings knowledge and a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her work. Since joining Bubolz Insurance in 2018, she has grown from a Customer Service Representative into a well-rounded insurance professional supporting both personal and commercial clients.

Ivy's responsibilities span personal lines service, new business, policy reviews, and commercial lines support, including policy changes and certificates of insurance. She also handles specialized coverage needs, including life, flood, and complex home policies. Behind the scenes, Ivy plays a key role in the agency's operations by helping train team members, maintaining the agency’s customer and reporting systems, in order to keep things organized and efficient. Licensed in Life, Property, and Casualty since 2018, she enjoys problem-solving and helping clients understand their coverage options so they can make confident, informed decisions.

Ivy's path into insurance began unexpectedly when she contacted her own agent to explore ways to save money and was offered an opportunity that developed into a fulfilling career. With a degree in Social Work and fluency in Spanish, she brings a natural ability to connect with people and a genuine desire to help. Although her career path shifted from social work to insurance, her passion remains the same: guiding and supporting people as they make important decisions for themselves and their families.

Bryanna Barnes

Licensed Personal Lines Agent

Bryanna is a Licensed Insurance Agent specializing in Personal Lines. She began her insurance career in 2020 and joined Bubolz Insurance in December 2025, bringing experience from several independent agencies throughout Michigan, including agencies in the Metro Detroit area and Jackson.

Bryanna’s passion for insurance began when she started as a receptionist at an independent agency and was given the opportunity to grow into an agent role. After experiencing an auto accident herself, she gained a firsthand appreciation for the importance of having the right protection in place and the value of working with an agent who takes the time to explain coverage options. She enjoys helping clients better understand their insurance and making the process feel more approachable.

In her role at Bubolz Insurance, Bryanna enjoys simplifying insurance and helping clients understand how their coverage works for their individual needs. She believes education and communication are key to building strong relationships and ensuring clients feel confident about the protection they have in place.

Bryanna appreciates that Bubolz Insurance treats clients like family, with many customers having trusted the agency for multiple generations. She enjoys being part of a team that supports one another and works together to provide a high level of service. Known for her enthusiasm and positive energy, Bryanna brings a welcoming presence to the agency. Her experience of working in other types of agencies has given her insight into the many ways agents can serve clients and the importance of finding the right solutions for each individual.

Outside of insurance, Bryanna has a background in the beauty industry and is a licensed esthetician. She has a natural passion for helping others and is known for her thoughtful and generous spirit. Whether assisting clients with their insurance needs, supporting her teammates, or connecting with people in her everyday life, Bryanna brings a genuine care and helpfulness to everything she does.

Barbara Pritchett

Customer Service Representative

Barbara is a valued member of our team, serving as a Customer Service Representative since 2024. As one of the first points of contact for many of our clients, she helps create a welcoming experience from the moment someone walks through the door or reaches out for assistance. Barbara supports both clients and agents by assisting with daily transactions, answering questions, and helping ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.

With a background in both customer service and the legal field, Barbara has strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to her work. While she may say she “fell into” the insurance industry, her natural ability to connect with people and simplify complex information has made her an essential part of our client service team.

Barbara is passionate about helping clients feel comfortable and informed. She takes pride in making insurance easier to understand and enjoys guiding clients through everyday questions and requests with care and compassion. Her approachable style allows her to relate to clients and provide support in a way that feels clear, reassuring, and personal.

She believes one of the things that truly sets our agency apart is its family-owned foundation and the genuine relationships we build with both clients and team members. That sense of connection is one of the things Barbara appreciates most about working at Bubolz Insurance.
